Americans of Polish descent are descendants of the fifth largest ethnic group that built America. According to the data of the statistical office (U.S. Census Bureau) about 10 million Americans of Polish descent live in the United States, and about 1 milion at East Coast. In 2008-2010, New York alone was home to 53,496 Polish immigrants (Census Bureau estimates based on the American Community Survey).

DSNY Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to support, enrich and promote Polish-American minority group on the East Coast of US. DSNY Foundation target population are Polish – American children and youth, born in USA but raised in Polish or Polish-American families, as well as older adults – immigrants, predominantly from Poland and other Eastern European countries, living in New York area.
